Virgilio Program for new entrepreneurs

cose

– Assists new entrepreneurs since 1997

In line with its vocation of providing Services to Society, Rotary has decided to provide and share the Management Experiences of its members to neo-entrepreneurs. This service is made available as a direct result of the Virgilio Program which was commenced in 1997. The Program provides tutoring and support by Rotary members, to New Companies, in particular small ones. In order to have a Legal Identity, the Volunteer tutor members have created ‘The Rotarial Volunteers Association for Tutoring’ which is registered in the Register of the Associations of Lombardy.

The evolution of The Virgilio Program stemmed from direct focussed interaction between Rotary and various Public Institutions at a local level, which collate management skill requirements of neo-entrepereneurs, (for example, Chambers of Commerce – Universities – Industrial and Professional Organizations).

About the association

Created in 2001, and with years of increased activity, The Rotarian Volunteers Association, can now be described as a well-established organization. This is a direct result of the hard work, dedication and availability of its members. There are currently approximately 50 tutors working in the area of Milan, while it is estimated that approximately 130 tutors have passed through the association since its creation.
The Association involves tutors, partner institutions, governing bodies, marketing managers and information system staff.
From an economic point of view, its annual financial statement is below EUR 2000, financed by members’ fees and by additional Rotary Club support.
Based on this, the Association carries out almost 1500 hours of support annually.
To join the Virgilio Program, both as entrepreneurs and tutors (Rotary members), place your cursor over the “REGISTRATION” box and proceed with the application.
